The Stainless Steel 310 Flat Bar and Rod are made up of around 25% chromium and 20% nickel, which gives them excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion. They also contain trace amounts of manganese, silicon, and carbon. This material boasts a tensile strength of about 515 MPa, a yield strength of 205 MPa, and an elongation of 40%. With exceptional creep resistance and stability at high temperatures, it maintains its structural integrity even up to 1150°C. Its well-balanced composition ensures great weldability, formability, and long-lasting performance under continuous thermal stress and mechanical loads.

The primary alloying element in Stainless Steel 347H is niobium (Nb), which stabilizes the material against carbide precipitation during welding and high-temperature exposure. This enhances its resistance to intergranular corrosion and improves its overall high-temperature strength.
Stainless Steel 347H is most suitable for applications in the temperature range of 800°C to 1500°F (427°C to 815°C). This range allows it to maintain its strength, corrosion resistance, and stability, particularly in high-temperature environments like furnaces.
Typical dimensions of a Stainless Steel 347H flat bar range from 0.25 inches (6 mm) to 6 inches (150 mm) in thickness and 1 inch (25 mm) to 12 inches (300 mm) in width. Custom sizes are also available.
Stainless Steel 310 Flat Bars and Rods are widely utilized in applications that demand superior heat and oxidation resistance. You’ll often find them in furnace parts, heat exchangers, kilns, radiant tubes, and combustion chambers. In the chemical processing and power generation sectors, they serve as boiler baffles, refinery equipment, and piping systems that are exposed to high temperatures. Their strength and resistance to scaling make them ideal for cryogenic applications and structural supports. Moreover, these bars and rods are extensively used in aerospace, marine, and construction projects where durability, precision, and reliability are crucial in extreme service environments.

We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
