Sadiki Metals, a prominent manufacturer and supplier located in Kinshasa, Congo, proudly presents its top-notch Stainless Steel 321 Flat Bars, crafted for exceptional performance in high-temperature and corrosive settings. These flat bars are titanium-stabilized, which means they offer remarkable resistance to intergranular corrosion and oxidation. Produced with cutting-edge techniques and high-quality raw materials, Stainless Steel 321 Flat Bars are celebrated for their impressive mechanical strength, durability, and weldability. Sadiki Metals guarantees that each product adheres to international quality standards, making these bars perfect for the chemical, petrochemical, and construction industries that require precision and reliability in tough conditions.
The Stainless Steel 321 Flat Bar primarily consists of chromium (17–19%), nickel (9–12%), titanium (≥5xC%), carbon (≤0.08%), along with manganese and silicon. This alloy boasts a tensile strength of around 515 MPa, a yield strength of 205 MPa, and an elongation of 40%. The addition of titanium helps prevent carbide precipitation, ensuring stability against intergranular corrosion during welding and exposure to high temperatures. The alloy also demonstrates excellent creep and stress-rupture strength up to 870°C, along with good ductility and oxidation resistance. These characteristics make it an ideal choice for extended service in high-temperature environments.

The primary alloying element in Stainless Steel 321 is chromium, typically comprising around 17-19%. Chromium provides corrosion resistance, while titanium is added to improve high-temperature stability and prevent carbide precipitation during welding or prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures.
Stainless Steel 321 is most suitable for temperatures ranging from 800°F to 1500°F (427°C to 815°C). It excels in high-temperature environments due to its titanium stabilization, which prevents carbide precipitation and maintains corrosion resistance under prolonged heat exposure.
Typical dimensions of Stainless Steel 321 flat bars vary, with widths ranging from 20 mm to 150 mm, thicknesses between 3 mm and 50 mm, and lengths up to 6 meters, customizable based on specific requirements.
Stainless Steel 321 Flat Bars find extensive use in applications where high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance are essential. They are perfect for heat exchangers, furnace components, exhaust systems, chemical processing equipment, and refinery parts. In the aerospace and automotive sectors, they are utilized in engine manifolds and expansion joints. Thanks to their excellent weldability and formability, these bars are also suitable for pressure vessels, marine structures, and power generation systems. With their stability and resistance to oxidation, Stainless Steel 321 Flat Bars are a go-to option for various demanding applications.
